Muhammad Usman is a career civil servant from Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). Before heading Punjab PPP Authority (P4A), he has held numerous pivotal positions, including Secretary Food Department, Special Secretary Development at the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department. His leadership extends to strategic roles such as Member of Private Sector Development at the Planning and Development Board, Punjab and Project Director at the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department. He has also worked as Additional Secretary at Management & Professional Development Department, Punjab, District Coordination Officer Hafizabad, Additional Finance Secretary and Additional Director General at the Lahore Development Authority showcasing his versatility and expertise across various domains of governance.
Furthermore, Muhammad Usman has demonstrated exceptional academic prowess, holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology and an LL.B from the University of the Punjab. Complementing his academic achievements are his professional trainings, including the Specialized Training Program for the officers of Pakistan Administrative Services and the Mid-Career Management Course for Federal Government officers. Notably, he has enriched his skill set through specialized courses in Evidence Based Decision Making from the National School of Public Policy and Project Development and Appraisal from the German Agency for Technical Cooperation –GTZ.
