P4A greenlights 31-site Student Accommodation PPP Programme across Punjab; UNDP onboarded as Transaction Advisor to drive feasibility & structuring

In a landmark move to modernize student living across Punjab, the Chief Executive Officer of P4A chaired a high-level meeting  with Vice Chancellors and senior representatives from public sector universities and 3 medical colleges. The forum was briefed on the approval of the PPP concept by the PPP Steering Committee — a transformative initiative spanning 31 proposed hostel sites across the province.
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has been engaged as Transaction Advisor, tasked with leading feasibility studies and structuring the transactions that will bring this vision to life.
Stressing the power of collaboration, the CEO P4A called for close coordination between P4A, UNDP, relevant government departments, and participating universities to ensure the programme delivers real, lasting impact. Discussions also mapped out the immediate roadmap — demand assessment, technical due diligence, financial feasibility, and the development of robust, bankable PPP structures.
