Project Description
The project starts from Taranda M. Panah and ends at Muzaffargarh passing through Sukkur - Multan Section (Motorway M-5) of Karachi - Lahore Motorway and Head Panjnad. Taranda M. Panah is a thickly populated city located in Punjab about 80 km southwest of Bahawalpur and about 95 km northeast of Rahim Yar Khan. Karachi- Lahore Motorway (KLM) is a six lane, high speed, access controlled motorway that connects Karachi with Peshawar through Islamabad, Lahore, Multan and Sukkur. The project road will meet the Sukkur - Multan (Motorway M-5) section of Karachi - Lahore Motorway.
Project Impact
It will improve the connectivity and road transport efficiency via dual carriageway and associated facilities.
