Project Description
Faisalabad is renowned for its Clock Tower from which eight bazars originate just like the Union Jack flag of the United Kingdom. These eight bazars are the hub of commercial activities in Faisalabad. The Old Mayor’s House in Faisalabad is located close to the clock tower and eight bazars / shopping areas are adjacent to it having a huge potential for revenue generating activities. Site is located on the edge of Chinioti Bazar at Kotwali Road near Faisalabad Ghanta Ghar. Although MCF has improved the roads by shifting utilities underground including electric cables, yet it is very difficult to move into these bazars due to parking of vehicles.
Potential Impact
Increased footfall is expected to provide employment opportunities in the area and thus it will contribute toward economic growth.
