Six major road infrastructure projects worth PKR 25 billion have been approved at the 2nd meeting of the Authority, chaired by the Senior Minister of Punjab, marking the first set of approvals under Punjab’s reformed and transparent PPP framework.
The approved portfolio covers nine key provincial roads, grouped into five O&M packages, stretching 457 kilometres across Punjab:
Muridke–Narowal | Narowal–Shakargarh | Bahawalpur–Yazman | Yazman–Ahmadpur East | Raiwind–Changa Manga | Gajju Mattah–Kasur | Faisalabad–Sahianwala Canal Expressway | Faisalabad–Samundri–Rajana | Faisalabad Ring Road.
Additionally, the dualization of the Chiniot–Sargodha Road along with O&M of Faisalabad–Chiniot section will create a 68 km integrated corridor connecting major economic zones.
