PPPs Consultative Session of Punjab PPP Authority with the Administrative Department of GoPb
As per guidelines of Annual Development Plan (ADP) 2023-24 of Planning and Development Board, all the administrative departments were instructed to identify potential PPP projects during ADP formulation process. In this regard a one day Consultative Session was successfully held at the office of Punjab PPP Authority on 21-03-2023 with the administrative departments including C&W, Energy, Agriculture, Tourism, HUD&PHE, Transport along with allied entities CBD Punjab, Abe Pak Authority and Skills Development Authority. The session was led by Mr. Mansoor Sarwar Deputy Director General (Projects) Punjab PPP Authority, Mr. Shoaib Iftikhar Chief (Projects), PPP Cell P&D Board and Mr. Zahid Hussain Gender & Social Safeguard Specialist Punjab PPP Authority. The representative of each department discussed about the potential doable PPP projects and share the preliminary analysis. All the departments agreed to submit concept papers of the identified PPP projects to Punjab PPP Authority for the approval of PDF funding request and TA hiring. The Punjab PPP Authority assured its full support and informed that separate sessions may also be held for detailed discussion.
