The incumbent CEO, Mr. Iqbal Hussain Khan, is a career civil servant from the Pakistan Administrative Service. He is a public policy practitioner and civil service leader with more than twenty years of demonstrated experience in management, governance, and development. Before heading the Authority, he held various important positions in the provincial governments of Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, including Home Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan, Secretary Education Gilgit-Baltistan, Special Secretary Home Punjab, Special Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department Punjab, Special Secretary School Education Department, and Deputy Commissioner/District Coordination Officer (DCO) Jhelum. With his vast experience and leadership skills, he has made significant contributions in public policy formulation and implementation, governance and efficient administration, institutional reforms, and planning and development.
His academic background is rich and diverse, with a Master of Education Policy (International) from MGSE, University of Melbourne, Australia, and a Master of Science from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. Throughout his career, Mr. Hussain has played key roles, ranging from heading district administrations and provincial government departments to leading national and province-level social sector projects. His extensive experience has provided him with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges associated with public service delivery and policy-making. With wide-ranging practical experience and a diverse skill set acquired through training, Mr. Hussain is well-equipped to lead the Punjab Public Private Partnership Authority to success.
