Multan - Vehari Road is one of the major roads which connects Multan with Vehari City, both ancient cities of the Punjab. It is a significant intercity highway connecting route of almost 86.4 km in length running between the Punjab cities of Multan and Vehari. The vicinity between Multan and Vehari includes Kot Rab Nawaz, Chak Malook, Motorway M-4 Interchange, Kassi Road, Jhandewali, Makhdoom Rasheed, Jahanian Road, Lodhran - Khanewal Expressway Flyover, Tibba Sultan Pur chowk, Garha Morr, Adda Ghulam Hussain, and Thingi Adda. With the aim of upgrading existing single road section of 86.4 km of Multan Vehari Road, the government intends to dualize and rehabilitate the road under PPP mode. Dualization of this road will enhance commuter travel experience, safety as well as reliability.
Current Status: Technical bid opened on 08-06-2022 for the project Dualization of Multan -Vehari Road.
